The best test track: everyday life. One of the most recent Porsche Design innovations is the MONOBLOC ACTUATOR, presented in 2017. It shows the role the art of motorsports engineering plays in watchmaking: It gives titanium – a material that has been used successfully in engine construction for more than 50 years – a completely novel form. And revolutionizes the classic stopwatch function of a wristwatch. Instead of the familiar push-piece, the chronograph has a single rocker switch, inspired by the engine of the Porsche 911 RSR. Additional intelligent functions such as the two-time-zone mechanism make the sporty chronograph an ideal partner. Because time is not just the measure of all things for motorsports, but for the wrist too.
